The death of the OPC

Having spent a week over at the US Warhawk forum I was dismayed to finally log onto the EU forum to find that not only had it had a make-over, but now looks like Sly Stallone`s mum: apart from the dreadful dark skin that the US forum has, it`s almost exactly the same!

Now I`m only speaking from personal experience but this is the way I see it after my week`s sabatical in Yankieland: I usually get bored very quickly with a new game, but this didn`t happen with Warhawk...mainly due to the OPC. I`ve come to realise that I enjoyed it almost as much for the social aspect as for the game itself. Now that the OPC is forever disfigured I fear my love for the game will wane very quickly. I made some good friends, and the odd enemy (JJ anyone?) there and I am sad to see it go.

Earlier today I read that Jim suggested changing the name of this site to something along the lines of UnOfficial Playstation Community (UOPC) and tend to agree that it might be an idea worth exploring.

:salute:

Gary, I suggested calling it the Unofficial Warhawking Community or UWC, as the site is predominantly Warhawk based, I also feel that Sony may have something to say about using the word Playstation in the title of a rival forum.
